About The Position

This role involves working in a fast-paced warehouse environment, focusing on processing wire and cable orders for shipping. The position requires reliability, access to transportation, and the ability to operate various equipment and technology. You will also be responsible for assisting customers with local orders and managing shipments. The work environment includes moving machinery, potential for long periods of standing and cutting wire, and a non-climate controlled setting with potential for high temperatures and noise. Safety is a priority, with provided PPE and regular safety meetings.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to understand and adhere to all job requirements and safety guidelines.
• Access to reliable transportation to and from work.
• Detail-oriented, able to multi-task, with attention to detail.

• Previous Wire & Cable experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate cutting equipment to process wire and cable orders for shipping.
• Use RF scanners, iPads, and handheld devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders for shipping.
• Assist customers with local will-call orders.
• Build, wrap, sort, and transport reels, pallets, and packages.
• Ship and receive truck deliveries.
• Work at a fast pace and be flexible to work overtime as needed.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
• Lift up to 80 lbs.
• Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts.
• Use sit-down forklifts, dollies, and other equipment to move product within the facility.
