NSI Industries is seeking a Warehouse Associate I for our Fort Worth, TX Distribution Center. Hours are 2nd Shift, Monday through Friday 3:00pm - 11:30pm with overtime as needed until 1:30am.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Good math and reading skills
- Intermediate computer skills, including proficiency with WMS systems and shipping software
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to comprehend and follow verbal and written instructions
- Willing to work overtime when necessary
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. repeatedly
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time (this is a stand-up position)
- Visual acuity to distinguish detail, color, and other characteristics of material and objects
- Finger/wrist dexterity for computer keyboard use or handling/packaging product
- Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and work as part of a team
Responsibilities
- Pick customer orders using a handheld scanner, ensuring accuracy and quality
- Collaborate with robots (cobots) during the order pulling process
- Transport completed orders to the shipping audit station for final inspection and packing
- Package and label raw materials into finished products
- Print labels for finished products
- Complete production paperwork, noting quantities and material used
- Assist in unloading ocean freight containers
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization in the work area
- Participate in physical inventories as required
