A Warehouse Associate I is responsible for supporting the efficient movement of goods throughout the supply chain by receiving, inspecting, and processing incoming and outgoing shipments. This role is responsible for storing and organizing raw materials and finished products within the warehouse, as well as loading, unloading, and stocking merchandise safely and accurately. Additionally, the associate is responsible for verifying shipments against records to ensure accuracy, and for picking, packing, and preparing items for delivery to customers or resellers, helping maintain a smooth flow of products from arrival to final shipment.

Requirements

  • GED or High School Diploma
  • Excellent organizational and motivational skills
  • Outstanding attention to detail and observation ability
  • Ability to arrange items or actions in a certain order or pattern according to a specific rule or set of rules
  • Critical thinking capabilities
  • Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
  • Ability to follow diagrams and pictures
  • Ability to follow instructions carefully
  • Effectively use Windows and standard applications including Outlook, Excel, and Word

Responsibilities

  • Direct, control, and monitor the warehousing and distribution of materials or finished goods
  • Oversee receiving, stocking, loading, and unloading merchandise
  • Operate and manage heavy-duty equipment as needed
  • Plan the movement of materials to ensure efficient warehouse operations
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics, including inventory management, warehousing, and transportation
  • Ensure sufficient supply of goods and products to meet operational needs
  • Plan, implement, and control the movement and storage of goods from origin to point of consumption
  • Ensure customer requirements are met through efficient and effective delivery of products and services
