About The Position

Legacy Supply Chain is hiring a Warehouse Associate - Freight Verifier to support its distribution center in Oswego, Illinois. The role involves physically breaking down pallets and reviewing orders to ensure pallets contain the correct number of products for shipment. The associate verifies incoming freight, prepares shipment labels, and compares freight type and quantity with the warehouse management system (WMS). This is a physically demanding position requiring consistent lifting of up to 50 pounds and standing throughout a 10- or 12-hour shift. The schedule is Tuesday through Friday, 5:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Starting pay is $20.00 per hour, with eligibility for a monthly bonus of up to $1.05 per hour. Requirements

Must be able to lift 50 pounds on a consistent basis.
Must be able to work on their feet for the duration of a 10- or 12-hour shift.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

Verify incoming freight and prepare labels for shipment.
Visually verify the type and quantity of freight against the WMS.
Look for evidence of tampering and identify shortages, excesses, damages, or other unusual freight conditions.
Label merchandise in a concentrated, fast-paced environment.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
