Requirements

Must be able to work in areas with moderate dust and noise, hot and cold temperatures, and around automated and semi-automated manufacturing equipment.
Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
Demonstrates positive leadership and ability to hold self and others accountable.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED preferred
Previous forklift experience preferred
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
Previous experience in a laboratory supporting quality control and testing a bonus

Responsibilities

Load and unload various, diversely packaged items with the use of forklift equipment
Receive all raw materials to be used in production and for testing purposes.
Perform weighing of items with industrial scales
Gathering products and materials for quality control testing, making notes on findings in support of quality control team when requested.
Store finished product in designated storage area,
Staging items for successful loading in anticipation of freight carrier arrival
Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the Warehouse Manager and quality control team.
Perform other duties assigned as part of day-to-day operations as part of a small and collaborative team
