About The Position
Our client is seeking Warehouse Associates to join their team in New London, CT. This role is responsible for handling incoming and outgoing merchandise, ensuring accurate order fulfillment, and maintaining a safe and organized warehouse environment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- At least 1 year of experience in warehousing or a related field
- Strong aptitude for mathematical operations and numerical analysis
Responsibilities
- Perform inbound and outbound freight handling including shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment
- Accurately pick, pack, and distribute sales orders and transfers
- Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and discrepancy reporting
- Operate warehouse tools and material handling equipment safely while following standard operating procedures and PPE requirements
- Load, unload, move, and stock materials efficiently while ensuring proper documentation with bills of lading
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment and report any hazards promptly
