About The Position

This role is an on-site position located in Grand Prairie, TX, with a weekend shift schedule.

Requirements

• Stand-up Reach Forklift: 1 year (Required)
• Ability to operate the following lift trucks: LP-Gas sit down Rider, Electric Stand-up Rider, Low Lift Electric Hand Truck
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one or two-step instructions and to deal with ordinary, standardized situations.
• Ability to perform very basic math skills including adding; subtracting, multiplying, and dividing two-digit numbers; and operations with units such as inch, foot, yard; ounce, and pound.
• Able to read, write and communicate in English.
• High school diploma or General education degree (GED).
• Ability to speak and read English instructions.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Must be able to follow orders and proper machine operating.
• Learn tasks quickly, be detailed, accuracy-driven, personable, team-oriented, and punctual with excellence in attendance.

Responsibilities

• Ensure warehouse inventory is properly placed and recorded for accuracy.
• Work off the forklift as well as operating it.
• Report to the shipping office at the beginning of each shift for daily assignments, vehicle inspection sheet, and replenishment discrepancies sheet.
• Inspect assigned lift and complete vehicle inspection sheet.
• Replenish pick slots. If no requests exist, manually replenish to fill empty or almost empty slots.
• Maintain correct counts.
• Verify that the correct product is being put in the appropriate pick location.
• Remove all empty pallets from pick locations and aisles.
• Separate good and bad pallets and neatly stage them in the pallet staging area.
• Operate the lift in a safe and efficient manner.
• Park and recharge the lift in its appropriate spot at the end of the shift.
• Understand procedures in other areas of the warehouse for a more global understanding of all processes.
