Requirements

  • 1-2 years experience operating power industrial equipment.
  • Accurately follow directions, both written and verbal.
  • Understanding Map Locations.
  • Sorting by alpha or numeric.
  • Maintain individual productivity and quality standards according to department requirements.
  • Focus and remain on task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Great communication skills.
  • Regularly lift, push, pull and/or move objects 10-50lbs and occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh up to 100 lbs.
  • Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach.
  • Occasionally required to sit and climb (ladders and/ or stairs) or balance.
  • May be subject to environmental conditions. Protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes.
  • May be required to function in narrow aisles or passageways.
  • Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus.
  • Time management skills.
  • Able to work well under pressure.
  • Must be able to work well with other staff members and supervisors.
  • Must have an open availability, flexible and able to work various shifts and over time.

Nice To Haves

  • 1-2 years Warehouse experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with safety measures in a warehouse.

Responsibilities

  • Uses power industrial equipment to load and unload, move or stack materials or products.
  • Ensures the neat, orderly condition of the warehouse.
  • Operates manual or electric carts in order to fill orders.
  • From the receiving area, scan and count items and load on cart.
  • Stock items appropriately by location and quantity.
  • Receive merchandise from vendors and other stores and put them in the proper location on the shelves.
  • Check off merchandise as received.
  • Correct mistakes found on the inventory count sheet.
  • Assist in pulling parts during busy times.
  • Work with stock manager to address any problems with orders.
  • Miscellaneous projects and perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Maintain and promote workplace safety.
  • Securing and transferring cash or other assets.
