About The Position

The Warehouse Associate/Equipment Operator fills customer orders in a fast-paced warehouse by operating a Cherry Picker and/or Reach Truck. The role uses an RF scanner to identify products and moves, gathers, distributes, and assembles merchandise for customer orders. Orders are placed on pallets, shelves, or conveyor belts according to the route to the packing station or shipping department.

The position also supports receiving by unloading incoming merchandise when needed, assists inventory and returns operations, and assembles component parts into lockers and cabinets using manual, air, and electrical hand tools. Regular onsite attendance is an essential function. The role generally works a second-shift schedule of 4:00 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.

Requirements

• Previous experience operating a Reach Truck and/or Cherry Picker.
• At least 1 year of experience working in a warehouse environment.
• At least 1 year of experience with material handling equipment.
• Previous experience using an RF scanner.
• Ability to read and interpret assembly instructions and drawings.
• Ability to independently lift products weighing up to 75 pounds continuously in a productive environment.
• Ability to stand, walk, pull, and bend continuously throughout the day in a fast-paced environment.
• Reading and comprehension skills.

Responsibilities

• Assemble customer orders from stock and place products on pallets, shelves, or conveyor belts according to the route to packing or shipping.
• Assist the Receiving Department with unloading incoming merchandise from trucks when needed.
• Assist the inventory and returns departments with daily operations.
• Assemble component parts to build lockers and cabinets.
• Use manual, air, and electrical hand tools efficiently and safely.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
