About The Position

The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to support warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping merchandise. Required to have CDL.

Requirements

  • CDL-Required to have a CDL
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and performing physically demanding tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing tasks such as counting, sorting, and verifying merchandise.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Willingness to assist colleagues and contribute to a positive team dynamic.
  • Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic and commitment to meeting deadlines and achieving results.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in warehouse operations or a similar role is preferred but not required. On-the-job training will be provided.

Responsibilities

  • Receive incoming shipments of merchandise, verify contents against packing slips or invoices, and unload goods from delivery vehicles.
  • Inspect received items for damages and report any discrepancies or issues to the appropriate personnel.
  • Store merchandise in designated locations within the warehouse, ensuring proper placement and efficient use of space.
  • Use pallet jacks, forklifts, or other equipment as needed to move and stack pallets of goods.
  • Retrieve merchandise from shelves, bins, or storage areas based on pick tickets or customer orders.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of orders by verifying quantities and item descriptions before packing for shipment.
  • Pack orders securely and prepare them for shipping using appropriate packaging materials and methods.
  • Affix shipping labels and documentation to packages and coordinate with shipping carriers to schedule pickups or deliveries.
  • Perform periodic inventory counts and cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Assist in reconciling inventory discrepancies and participate in physical inventory audits as required.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, including sweeping, mopping, and removing debris.
  • Report any maintenance or repair issues to the warehouse supervisor or manager.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required and report any safety hazards or concerns to management.
  • Work collaboratively with other warehouse associates, supervisors, and managers to achieve team goals and objectives.
  • Communicate effectively and contribute to a positive work environment.
