About The Position

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for receiving, storing, organizing, and distributing fire and life safety equipment and materials. This role will also involve driving to make deliveries. This role ensures accurate inventory management and timely fulfillment of orders to support inspection, service, and installation teams while maintaining compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be able to pass an MVR and drive a company vehicle.
  • Basic knowledge of inventory systems or warehouse management software.
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the day.
  • Forklift certification (or ability to obtain).
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Nice To Haves

  • 1+ years of warehouse or logistics experience preferred.
  • Experience with fire protection equipment and/or familiarity with NFPA standards.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments of fire and life safety equipment (e.g., fire extinguishers, sprinkler components, alarm devices).
  • Pick, pack, and stage materials for technicians and installation crews.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and perform routine cycle counts.
  • Organize and store materials in accordance with company procedures and industry standards (NFPA, OSHA where applicable).
  • Ensure proper labeling, storage, and handling of regulated materials, including compressed cylinders and chemicals.
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
  • Load and unload delivery vehicles safely and efficiently.
  • Monitor inventory levels and report discrepancies or shortages.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.
