About The Position
The Warehouse Associate prepares orders for shipment to customers.
Requirements
- Powered Industrial Truck certification for Reach Truck, Dock Stocker
- Previous warehouse experience
- RF scanner experience
- Warehouse Management System experience
- Effectively communicate information and respond to questions from various levels within the organization
- Keen attention to detail including speed and accuracy in counting and checking
- Arithmetic skills, including adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Good judgment and decision making skills
- Able to follow directions accurately with little supervision
Responsibilities
- Follow set work standards for picking orders
- Safely operate and utilize manual and powered equipment
- Load and unload product in an efficient and safe manner
- Check product and packaging for quality purposes prior to shipping
- Scan products using RF scanner
- Review orders for shipment to ensure accuracy
- Other warehouse duties and activities as assigned
- Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations
