Responsibilities
- Prepare shipments and ensure that all products are accurately packed for delivery.
- Load and unload trucks.
- Safe operation of a forklift and other equipment.
- Meticulously check inventory for accuracy.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Navigate local routes, delivering supplies to our customers with a strong focus on safety and punctuality.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients.
- Address any concerns and solve logistical challenges.
- Embrace core values of excellence and integrity, ensuring that every interaction is customer-centric.
- Receive and inspect materials from Motor Freight Carriers, UPS/FedEx, and customer returns.
- Accurately pull and stage orders for shipment using forklifts or order pickers.
- Ensure items are packaged securely and labeled correctly.
- Complete shipping documentation and system entries while maintaining high quality standards.
- Load and secure deliveries on Eastern vehicles for safe transport.
- Deliver orders to local customers and other Eastern Distribution Centers.
- Maintain real-time communication with supervisors via phone & GPS.
- Inspect and ensure proper working condition of delivery trucks.
