About The Position

Artisan Design Group (ADG) is seeking a high-performing, dependable, and customer-focused Delivery Driver / Material Handler to support daily operations and jobsite execution. This critical role is responsible for the safe, accurate, and timely delivery of cabinets, trim, hardware, and related materials to residential and commercial job sites throughout the Atlanta market. The ideal candidate is safety-minded, physically capable, detail-oriented, and takes pride in representing the company professionally at customer locations. This individual will play a direct role in ensuring successful installations, minimizing product damage, maintaining schedule commitments, and delivering an exceptional customer experience. This is more than a driving role—it is an operations support position essential to customer satisfaction and field success.

Requirements

  • Prior delivery driver, warehouse, logistics, furniture, appliance, cabinet, or building materials experience preferred
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable motor vehicle record required
  • Experience driving box trucks, flatbeds, or cargo vans preferred
  • Ability to read delivery tickets, packing slips, manifests, and route instructions
  • Forklift or pallet jack experience preferred
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate company delivery trucks, vans, and assigned vehicles in compliance with all traffic laws, DOT requirements, and company policies
  • Perform daily delivery routes throughout Metro Atlanta and surrounding markets
  • Load, secure, transport, and unload cabinets, countertops, trim, hardware, and building materials while preventing product damage
  • Inspect deliveries before departure to confirm order accuracy, condition, and completeness
  • Obtain customer signatures, proof of delivery, and delivery documentation as required
  • Communicate professionally with builders, superintendents, homeowners, installers, warehouse staff, and leadership
  • Assist installation and field teams by delivering rush orders, missing items, service parts, and replacement materials
  • Conduct daily vehicle inspections and immediately report safety, mechanical, or maintenance concerns
  • Maintain delivery vehicles in clean, organized, and professional condition
  • Assist warehouse operations with receiving, staging, inventory control, material movement, and loading support when not on route
  • Resolve minor field issues professionally and escalate concerns quickly when needed
  • Consistently uphold company standards for safety, professionalism, urgency, and customer service
