About The Position

This role is for a Warehouse Associate / Delivery Driver in Spokane Valley, WA, with responsibilities split approximately 80% warehouse duties and 20% driving. The position involves loading, unloading, receiving, storing, and distributing inventory, as well as delivering finished products, parts, and materials to customer locations. The company is seeking a reliable team player who can work safely in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 18 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required if operating a vehicle for Company purposes.
  • Ability to use a handheld scanning unit.
  • Compute basic math problems.
  • Previous experience working in a warehouse environment.
  • Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience (10,001- 26,000 lbs vehicle).
  • Acceptable Department of Motor Vehicle Record.
  • Flexibility to perform warehouse duties as signed.

Nice To Haves

  • Forklift certification is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a commercial motor vehicle locally.
  • Frequent bending, stooping, pushing, pulling and lifting up 50 lbs. during physical loading/unloading of trucks.
  • Excellent customer service skills- our drivers are the most important ambassadors of our company and build relationships with our customers.
  • Able to read, write and understand English Language, as well as use navigation software.
  • Shift schedule varies anywhere from 5:30 am to 7:00 am start.
  • Assist with Deliveries 20% of the time.
  • Safely operate a forklift and/or pallet jack.
  • Cycle count inventory, storing in orderly and accessible manner, while inspecting stock items for wear or defects and reporting to supervision.
  • Ensure loads are complete and secured to minimize damage and breakage.
  • Frequent bending, stooping, pushing, pulling and lifting 50 lbs. during physical loading/unloading of trucks.
  • Ability to stand for up to 12 hours to perform job related tasks.
  • Any other duty, task, or responsibilities as assigned.
