About The Position
Linde is a leading global industrial gases and engineering company. The Cylinder Handler performs a variety of duties related to the loading, preparation, filling, and shipping of cylinders as required. This role offers an opportunity to learn, grow, and contribute to a leading industrial gas and engineering company.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent experience
- Safety conscious and commitment
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations
- Must be dependable and accountable (attendance and punctuality)
- Able to manipulate a variety of cylinder sizes and weights as required
- Must have ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Good computer skills
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of gas cylinders is an asset
Responsibilities
- Load / unload trucks confirming cylinder quantities, styles and product mix
- Put away stock, count cylinder loads and warehouse housekeeping
- Fill cylinders as required
- Perform visual, physical and odor tests on cylinders before filling and determine whether re-testing and /or repairs are necessary
- Complete and maintain quality control documentation per company and governmental requirements
- Meet established standards for productivity and quality
