About The Position

SEEDWAY, LLC is seeking a dependable, safety-focused team member to join their operation. This role involves a mix of hands-on operations, customer interaction, and driving. The associate will operate commercial vehicles, assist with product packaging and inventory, and ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and customer service. SEEDWAY, LLC is headquartered in Hall, New York and currently employs 280 employees (including seasonal workers) nationwide. SEEDWAY is part of the GROWMARK system, an agricultural subsidiary serving more than 100,000 customers across North America, Canada, and Mexico. SEEDWAY, LLC is a full-line seed company providing high quality, high-performing farm seed products as well as lawn and turf products throughout Pennsylvania, New York, New England states, Florida, and South Carolina. We offer a leading line of vegetable seed for growers in the United States and Eastern Canada.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a CDL with required endorsements and a valid medical card.
  • Valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
  • Forklift experience or willingness to become certified.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate company vehicles, including single, tandem, and multi-axle trucks, to deliver and pick up agronomy products.
  • Ensure deliveries and pickups are completed accurately and on schedule.
  • Represent the company professionally and provide exceptional customer service at every interaction.
  • Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain equipment in safe operating condition.
  • Follow DOT regulations and company safety standards at all times.
  • Package products to the correct weight and verify proper seed treatment application.
  • Stack, label, stencil, and organize bags and pallets for storage and shipment.
  • Maintain accurate product and inventory counts.
  • Load and unload products using forklifts and other material-handling equipment.
  • Ensure all loads are balanced, secure, and compliant with transportation regulations.
