Warehouse Associate 2
About The Position
This role requires an individual who displays an aptitude towards process-managed work tasks and a high regard for precision and consistency. The scope of skills and abilities allows for working within a team and performing individual tasks that are time-sensitive and necessary to maintain and complete downstream processes. The associate will be prepared to perform daily work assignments and maintain highly reliable attendance. They will safely and competently operate industrial equipment to transport, place, and organize products, and perform a wide range of tasks as assigned under general guidance to meet specific daily schedules. Responsibilities include loading parts and/or equipment onto carriers and placing materials/supplies on shelves, racks, or in specified floor locations from pallets, trays, and racks.
Requirements
- 12 to 18 months related experience or training.
- Ability to be a team player and help in other areas of the department as needed.
- Candidate must be able to read, write and understand in English.
Nice To Haves
- Successfully trained and certified on the Taylor Dunn, sit down forklift and either the Order Picker or Narrow Aisle Forklift.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Some computer experience preferred, but not required.
