About The Position

The Warehouse Associate 2 position requires a minimum of six months of relevant warehouse experience. You must be familiar with RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS). In this role, your responsibilities will include assisting with daily warehouse tasks, such as inventory management, order fulfillment, shipping, and receiving. The Warehouse Associate 2 must be willing to learn how to operate the shrink wrap machine and manual/or electric pallet jack to carry out assigned duties. Additionally, you will be expected to maintain a clean and organized work area. You are also responsible for adhering to the company’s policies, safety, security, and productivity standards.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must pass a Drug screen and Background Check.
  • Must have at least 6 months of previous related warehouse experience.
  • Must follow all safety regulations, policies, and instructions, including the use of PPE.
  • Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed.
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
  • Perform all other warehouse duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Unload inbound shipments safely and move products to storage locations. Prior to product storage, count all products, compare to manifest, and check all shipments for damage. Report shortages, damages, and mis-shipments on the appropriate form and forward them to the supervisor. Efficiently stack and store the merchandise in the appropriate areas.
  • Efficiently pick customer orders for shipment, ensuring that the correct number and type of product is selected. Carry or transport orders to proper staging locations.
  • Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage. Report quality variances.
  • Efficiently move product from staging or storage areas into trailers. Ensure all products are safely stacked, wrapped, and loaded in compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Assist in physical inventories. Ensure proper stock rotation.
  • Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area. Assist in maintaining the security of the distribution center. Perform or assist in building, grounds, and equipment maintenance as required. Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety. Comply with OSHA and MSDS standards.
