About The Position

The Warehouse Associate 1 carries out logistics activities related to receiving, processing, storing, and sending inventory according to purchase orders and shipping schedules. The role includes loading orders onto trucks, organizing incoming stock, and applying appropriate labels to outgoing items. The associate supports inbound and outbound operations, handles furniture and orders, and maintains a clean, organized workspace while meeting company productivity standards and complying with OSHA standards. The position requires working in a warehouse environment with changing climate conditions and a flexible schedule that may include weekends and holidays.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent.
1–2 years of experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment; an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
Ability to work in a warehouse environment and withstand climate changes.
Ability to consistently lift or move products weighing up to 100 pounds.
Computer skills are not required.
No certificates or licenses are required.

Responsibilities

Support inbound and outbound operations.
Unload trailers by hand.
Move furniture using dollies and pallet jacks.
Verify that outbound picked furniture matches the invoice before loading it into a contractor’s vehicle for delivery.
Inspect outbound furniture for damage or flaws.
Prepare customer orders, monitor them, and ensure outbound furniture is properly assembled.
Use proper lifting techniques when lifting, pushing, stooping, twisting, and bending.
Use RF scanners to scan labels and ensure products are shipped to the correct destination.
Consistently lift or move products weighing up to 100 pounds.
Conduct operations in compliance with OSHA standards.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Meet company productivity standards.
