About The Position

This role involves understanding and performing tasks within the warehouse department according to the Karcher Quality Policy. Success is measured by the ability to follow specified processes, procedures, and work instructions, and to achieve certification in all three training phases with speed and accuracy. The position requires proficiency in picking, packing, and meeting daily production rates, ensuring accurate part verification, proper use of handheld devices, and adherence to packaging standards.

Requirements

Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
Ability to perform operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers.
Ability to print and speak simple sentences.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Less than one year of related experience is required.

Responsibilities

Understand and perform tasks within the department following specified processes, procedures, and work instructions.
Successfully complete all 3 phases of the training program with certification in each area, demonstrating speed and accuracy.
Successfully perform the picking process, including knowledge of warehouse locations, accurate part verification, use of handheld devices, and pick list verification.
Successfully perform the packing process, completing final audits prior to shipment to ensure proper parts and packaging standards are met.
Meet or exceed the daily rate set for picking.
