About The Position

Responsible for receiving materials, checking their accuracy, and storing them in the warehouse. Fills orders, stacks pallets, and prepares customer orders for shipment. Operates pallet jacks and forklifts. Verifiable reach forklift experience is required.

The schedule is 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturday overtime if needed.

Requirements

• Verifiable reach forklift experience.
• Certification to operate a dolly, pallet jack, pallet rider, and/or forklift while loading supplies and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Read customer and shipping orders to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
• Sort and place materials on pallets or in bins according to predetermined sequences, such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
• Sort and store perishable goods in refrigerated rooms.
• Assemble customer orders from stock, place them on pallets or shelves, and convey them to the packing station or shipping department.
• Mark materials with identifying information as directed.
• Record amounts of materials or items distributed.
• Weigh or count items distributed within the plant to ensure they conform to company standards.
• Compile worksheets or tickets from customer specifications.
• Operate designated equipment to transport materials between locations.
• Use certified equipment, including a dolly, pallet jack, pallet rider, and/or forklift, while loading supplies and equipment.
• Verify order accuracy.
• Rotate and replenish inventory as directed.
• Identify areas for departmental improvement and work with management to resolve problems.
• Follow departmental policies, procedures, objectives, and safety standards.
• Adhere to the company attendance and punctuality policy.
• Attend all required company and department training.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
