About The Position

The Warehouse Associate 1 is responsible for ensuring accurate and efficient handling of materials within the warehouse. This includes processing inventory transactions through the D365 ERP system, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting production needs through timely material movement. The role encompasses physical material handling, system updates, and participation in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize warehouse operations. Warehouse Associate 1 is responsible for accurately processing, moving, and controlling materials within the warehouse to support production and inventory operations. Additional responsibilities include receiving incoming goods, participating in routine cycle counts, and supporting general warehouse housekeeping. This role utilizes the D365 ERP system and handheld mobile devices to maintain inventory accuracy through the creation and posting of movement and transfer journals. The position performs material handling tasks using manual methods or material‑handling equipment and ensures the timely delivery of materials to designated production and storage areas. The Warehouse Associate I is also expected to actively contribute improvement ideas that enhance warehouse efficiency, accuracy, and safety. All tasks must be performed in alignment with established safety procedures and company standards operation procedures to maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment.

Requirements

3+ years of warehouse or inventory experience.
Advanced ERP knowledge; D365 experience strongly preferred.
Experience driving Forklift and Picker.
Ability to lift 50 lbs. and work at heights up to 25 feet.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Listen, read, write, and perform basic math.
Strong attention to detail, reliability, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to read and understand written procedures (in English).

Responsibilities

Process, move, and store materials to support production and inventory workflows.
Use the D365 ERP system and handheld mobile devices for inventory transactions, including movement and transfer journals.
Perform material handling tasks manually or with equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), or carts.
Ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials to designated locations.
Receive incoming goods, verify accuracy of shipments, and complete system transactions.
Participate in routine cycle counts and assist with resolving inventory discrepancies.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
Follow all safety rules, Standard Operation Procedures, and compliance requirements.
Actively contribute improvement ideas to enhance warehouse processes and performance.
Perform accurate inventory transactions and location updates in D365 ERP.
Lead cycle count activities and resolve discrepancies.
Inventory Count Audit
Operate forklifts, tow motor, and picking machines safely and efficiently.
Handle oversized or complex material movements.
Verify incoming goods and ensure proper documentation.
Receive materials returned from customers and representatives.
Return materials to vendor, verifying materials and printing shipping labels.
Prioritize and manage multiple work orders for timely delivery.
Accurate pick and move work orders and inventory items to production area.
Assist in resolving shortages and updating ERP records.
Mentor and assist new associates in warehouse processes.
Support team in implementing best practices and continuous improvement projects.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain a clean work environment.
