About The Position

As a Warehouse Assistant, your primary responsibility will be to assist in the smooth and efficient operations of the warehouse. You will play a crucial role in managing inventory, organizing products, and ensuring timely order fulfillment.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
A keen eye for detail to ensure accurate order processing and inventory management.
Strong organizational skills to maintain an orderly warehouse and keep track of inventory effectively.
Good communication skills to work efficiently within a team and interact with other departments.
Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Basic computer skills to navigate warehouse management systems and maintain digital records.
Knowledge of warehouse safety practices and the ability to adhere to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

Receive incoming shipments, inspect them for damage, and verify the accuracy of received goods against purchase orders.
Keep track of inventory levels, perform regular stock checks, and update the warehouse database to ensure accurate record-keeping.
Prepare orders for shipment, ensuring that items are picked, packed, and labeled correctly for timely delivery to customers or other departments.
Organize the warehouse to optimize space utilization and maintain cleanliness and orderliness at all times.
Assist in conducting quality control checks to ensure products meet the required standards before shipping.
Prepare shipping documents, coordinate with carriers for outbound shipments, and assist in receiving goods from suppliers.
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment for yourself and others.
Identify and address any discrepancies or issues related to inventory, orders, or shipments.
Collaborate with colleagues and supervisors to achieve daily warehouse goals and meet deadlines.
