About The Position

As part of this remarkable journey, we are looking for a Warehouse Assistant. The Warehouse Assistant is responsible for supporting warehouse operations by receiving, processing, storing, and shipping inventory and materials. This position ensures inventory accuracy, maintains a safe and organized work environment, and assists with the efficient movement of products throughout the facility. The Warehouse Assistant may operate forklifts and other material handling equipment as required and must comply with all company safety policies and procedures. You will report to the Warehouse Supervisor and be a part of the Operations team in North America.

Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
  • Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, inventory control, or material handling experience preferred.
  • Experience operating forklifts or other material handling equipment preferred.
  • Experience using inventory management software, barcode scanners, or warehouse management systems preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency with inventory tracking systems.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and established procedures.
  • Valid driver's license preferred.
  • Forklift certification preferred or ability to obtain certification as required.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, reach, climb, and perform repetitive movements throughout the workday.
  • Ability to regularly lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment and machinery.
  • Ability to work in a warehouse environment that may include varying temperatures, noise levels, and exposure to dust.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and unload incoming shipments.
  • Verify received materials against packing slips and purchase orders.
  • Sort, organize, label, and store inventory in designated locations.
  • Pick, package, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
  • Process inventory transactions using warehouse management and inventory systems.
  • Scan and verify inventory to maintain accurate stock records.
  • Report damaged, defective, or missing materials to the Warehouse Supervisor.
  • Load and unload trucks using appropriate material handling equipment.
  • Transport materials between warehouse locations, production areas, and designated workstations.
  • Maintain inventory documentation and records in accordance with company procedures.
  • Assist with cycle counts, physical inventories, and audit preparation activities.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently, as authorized.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by removing debris and addressing potential hazards.
  • Follow all safety regulations, company policies, and operational procedures.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and productivity expectations.
  • Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor or management.
