About The Position

We are seeking a Warehouse Assistant/Parts Coordinator who will assist in maintaining warehouse cleanliness and picking up and delivering material from warehouse and/or vendors for jobs sites. This role involves assisting the Purchasing and Warehouse Coordinator to ensure the company achieves its budgeted gross margin by purchasing equipment and parts at the lowest possible prices or utilizing warehouse inventory. The position requires monitoring all purchases, ensuring proper designation of charges to departments, and maintaining the status of all purchase orders. A key responsibility is providing efficient deliveries of parts and equipment to Technicians and Installers, aiming to minimize their need to visit supply houses. The role also includes replenishing truck stock using the Technicians and Installers Bin Restocking (TBR) System and planning parts replenishment around work schedules. Additionally, the Warehouse Assistant/Parts Coordinator will be responsible for monthly inventory counts of serialized equipment, processing warranty parts and labor credits, and maintaining an organized, neat, and clean warehouse environment. Adherence to the Code of Ethics, Team Rules, and Team Philosophy is expected.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be a self-motivated, self-starter, results driven individual.
  • Must be detail oriented and well organized.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Purchasing and Warehouse Coordinator by ensuring that the company achieves the budgeted gross margin by purchasing equipment and parts at the lowest possible prices or using equipment from warehouse inventory.
  • Monitor all purchases to ensure that purchase orders are issued and are properly designated as to which department they should be charged to.
  • Maintain status of all purchase orders.
  • Provide efficient deliveries of parts and equipment to Technicians and Installers.
  • Replenish truck stock using the Technicians and Installers Bin Restocking (TBR) System so that Technicians never make unnecessary trips for stocking.
  • Plan parts replenishment around their work schedule.
  • Count all serialized equipment on the last day of each month and reports accurate results to the Purchasing and Warehouse Coordinator.
  • Process all warranty parts and warranty labor credits quickly, then follows through to make sure the company receives each credit quickly.
  • Organize all equipment and parts stored within the warehouse area, keeping it neat and clean at all times.
