About The Position

As an Assistant Operations Manager, you will closely partner with an Operations Manager and/or GM to support and lead a team of supervisors, process leads, and associates to achieve our goals. In this role, you will support strategic planning and execution of department and building-wide targets and initiatives to support our company goals.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of people leadership experience within a warehouse or manufacturing setting, while demonstrating exceptional leadership skills and consistent influence of other people managers of large teams.
  • Demonstrate excellence in Microsoft Office or G Suite and maintain an open mindset towards learning and mastering new systems.
  • Experience setting operational performance standards, balancing short- and long-term priorities, and aligning departmental objectives with broader network goals.
  • Embodies values of Trust, Integrity, and Innovation as aligned with our OS while being responsible for enabling autonomy and building trust and accountability with the teams you manage.
  • Flexibility is important, as you should be available to address issues outside of standard business hours, and willing to work on nights or weekends as required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of supervisors, process leads, and warehouse associates to achieve operational goals while fostering a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement.
  • Support strategic planning and execution of department and site-wide initiatives in partnership with the Operations Manager and/or General Manager.
  • Analyze daily operational performance, identify trends and opportunities, and make data-informed decisions to adapt to changing business needs.
  • Partner cross-functionally across the site and network to solve operational challenges, implement change initiatives, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Onboard and support new hires and cross-training team members to ensure successful integration and development.
  • Lead and support Operations Managers on special projects and other business priorities as needed.
