Requirements

• Experience managing a team and/or function
• Shipping & Receiving experience
• Logistics experience
• Customer Service experience
• High School Diploma
• Enthusiasm, drive, passion
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle everyday challenges
• Incredible Customer Service skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Systems
• Forklift Trained
• Ability to perform heavy lifting up to but not limited to 70 lbs.

• Associate’s degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Ensure the department fulfills supply to customers, depots, and consignment customers.
• Develop systems incorporated with business systems to ensure all abrasive products are procured cost-effectively and in a timely manner.
• Provide support to internal customers.
• Ensure all flow sheets are received and relevant data is completed to manage customer/depot requirements.
• Prioritize daily abrasive activities.
• Manage abrasive depots.
• Manage consignment stock - abrasives.
• Direct staff to ensure priorities are achieved.
• Action back orders.
• Analyze abrasive inventory levels.
• Follow up on held releases.
• Follow up on final release costs for invoicing.
• Review customer usages and reorder levels.
• Assist with stock takes as directed.
• Ensure stock counts are accurate at all times.
• Obtain and record transport quotations.
• Manage the Transport Matrix.
• Handle abrasive releases and action orders.
• Check that transport companies' invoices are complete.
• Reconcile weekly abrasive depot flow sheets.
• Enter correct cyclic counts data and calculate variance.
• Investigate discrepancies with completed cyclic counts.
• Ensure monthly cyclic counts of all abrasive-related numbers are performed and entered.
• Perform other tasks and duties based upon business needs.
