About The Position

Tollefson's Retail Group operates furniture and flooring stores across Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Minnesota. Our Slumberland Furniture location in Alexandria, Minnesota is seeking a motivated Full-Time Warehouse & Delivery Associate to join our outstanding team. This role supports warehouse operations and customer deliveries, including assisting with furniture deliveries and ensuring the safe operation of company delivery vehicles. Responsibilities include conducting daily vehicle inspections and maintaining records. In the warehouse, you will receive, move, and organize merchandise, transport products to showroom areas, and use manual lifting techniques and powered equipment. Additional duties involve general upkeep of the building and grounds. This position is crucial for creating a positive customer experience through an organized warehouse, attractive showroom, and professional delivery service.

Requirements

A valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record and insurability.
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening, including testing for cannabis.
Capability to frequently lift and carry items weighing 75 pounds or more.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Previous warehouse or delivery experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

Assist with furniture deliveries to customers' homes and businesses.
Ensure the safe operation of company delivery vehicles.
Conduct daily vehicle inspections and maintain records of mileage and fluid levels.
Receive, move, and organize merchandise throughout the facility.
Transport products to showroom areas.
