Warehouse and Delivery Associate
About The Position
Tollefson's Retail Group is seeking a Part-Time Warehouse and Delivery Associate for their Slumberland location in Baxter, MN. This role involves assisting with customer deliveries, safe operation of delivery trucks, moving materials within the warehouse and showroom, and performing building and grounds maintenance. The associate will be a key member of the team, contributing to the presentation of the showroom and warehouse, and providing excellent customer service during deliveries. This position is scheduled for weekend shifts and offers part-time hours ranging from 8-29 weekly, depending on business needs.
Requirements
- Valid and insurable driver's license required.
- Ability to get and maintain MN Medical Examiner certificate required.
- Pre-employment drug testing required, to include cannabis due to DOT requirements.
- Ability to frequently lift and move 75+ pounds.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma/GED preferred.
- Previous warehouse or delivery experience preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Assist with deliveries to customer locations.
- Safe operation of the delivery truck, including daily inspections and tracking of fluids and mileage.
- Move materials from receiving areas to other designated areas, including the showroom.
- Ensure proper handling and operations for manual lifts and power equipment to ensure safety.
- Assist with building and grounds maintenance.
