About The Position

Tollefson's Retail Group is hiring a part-time Warehouse & Delivery Associate for its Slumberland location in Grand Rapids, Minnesota. The role supports daily store operations and customer service, working closely with the Store Manager. The associate assists with furniture deliveries and customer setup, warehouse organization, merchandise handling, and store and property maintenance. The position averages 16–24 hours per week, typically across three to four days, though hours may vary based on store and business needs. Starting pay is $16.50 per hour.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and approval of driving record (MVR) by the company's insurance provider.
• Ability to meet insurance requirements for operating company vehicles.
• Ability to regularly lift, carry, and move items weighing 75 pounds or more.
• Willingness to complete pre-employment drug screening, including cannabis testing as required under Minnesota DOT regulations.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Previous warehouse, moving, or delivery experience is helpful, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with product deliveries and customer setup.
• Conduct routine delivery vehicle inspections and document mileage and fluid levels.
• Receive, move, and safely store merchandise throughout the facility.
• Operate manual and powered material-handling equipment according to safety standards.
• Help maintain the appearance and cleanliness of the warehouse, showroom, and property.
• Provide professional and courteous customer service during deliveries.
