About The Position
Tollefson's Retail Group is hiring Part-Time Warehouse and Delivery Associates for their Slumberland location in Bemidji, MN. This role involves assisting customers with furniture solutions, making deliveries, and ensuring the safe operation of the delivery truck. Responsibilities include moving materials, operating manual lifts and power equipment, and assisting with building and grounds maintenance. The associate plays a key role in maintaining the showroom and warehouse appearance and providing excellent customer service during deliveries.
Requirements
- Valid and insurable driver's license.
- Ability to lift and move 75+ pounds frequently.
- Pre-employment drug testing required (screening includes cannabis).
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma/GED preferred.
- Previous warehouse or delivery experience preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Assist with deliveries to customer locations.
- Ensure safe operations of the delivery truck, including daily inspections and tracking of fluids and mileage.
- Drive the delivery truck.
- Move materials from receiving areas to designated areas, including the showroom.
- Ensure proper handling and operations for manual lifts and power equipment to ensure safety.
- Assist with building and grounds maintenance.
- Maintain the display of the showroom and warehouse.
- Offer exceptional customer service on deliveries.
