WMS and Process Administration Support
About The Position
ContainerWorld located in Richmond, British Columbia is a premier logistics provider for the beverage industry; privately owned company with approximately 400 employees throughout its facilities. We are a state-of-the-art forwarding, warehousing and distribution company. We are highly automated which includes Warehouse Management System (which includes voice picking, interleaved put-away/replenishment and license plated inventory with RF scanning), ERP, CRM, and other applications to support our operations and prime us for our expansion into other provinces. Requirements
- Strong computer background especially in an operational environment
- Strong Excel skills
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in transportation, logistics or warehouse operations will be an asset
- Preference will also be given to individual who has previous WMS software experience
Responsibilities
- Performs cycle count or targeted count audits with the purpose of reporting accuracy levels, identifying potential causes for inaccuracies and reporting to the appropriate area, fixing inaccuracies where possible, and analyzing data collected to establish root causes and apply improvement processes.
- Manages pick face by assigning appropriate slot location assignment based on item velocity and pack size codes, and walking the line to identify pick face issues and assigning team members action items.
- Supports WMS by investigating and resolving system-related issues, and performing some configuration/setup and system configuration.
