About The Position
We are currently seeking qualified candidates for a full time Ward Clerk position in the Beaumont area. The Ward Clerk is responsible for maintaining patient record information, tracts information regarding active patients, referrals, supplies and staff to assist with fulfilling patients' needs.
Requirements
- Basic typing skills
- Computer literacy
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Filing skills
- Customer service skills
- Knowledge of admission procedures, and discharges
- Computer skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Effective written and verbal communication
- Clean background and drug screen
Nice To Haves
- Experience with hospice/healthcare preferred
- Must be organized and detail oriented
