Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
6+ months of production, assembly, fabrication, upholstery, product finishing, material handling, or related hands-on work experience preferred; equivalent demonstrated ability may be considered
Knowledge of basic production, product finishing, and safe material handling practices
Knowledge of basic wall pad construction, vinyl or fabric covering, foam product handling, and material alignment standards
Skilled in reading work orders, cut sheets, labels, basic measurements, and production instructions
Skilled in aligning, wrapping, securing, trimming, and finishing wall pad covering materials
Ability to inspect work for fit, finish, material accuracy, graphic placement, and overall quality
Ability to maintain attention to detail while working with custom or made-to-order products
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and escalate discrepancies or quality concerns appropriately
Team-oriented attitude with willingness to take direction, support others, and adjust based on business needs

Nice To Haves

Experience in wall pad covering, upholstery, fabrication, product finishing, custom manufacturing, or related hands-on production work
Experience working with oversized, custom, graphic, or made-to-order products
Familiarity with cutouts, corners, columns, graphics, color matching, or specialty wall pad details

Responsibilities

Perform standard wall pad covering and related product finishing activities, including preparing materials, aligning covers, securing materials, trimming excess material, and completing assigned wall pad production work.
Review work orders, cut sheets, materials, colors, graphics, labels, and product details before and during production to support accurate completion of assigned jobs.
Inspect finished wall pads and related products for fit, finish, alignment, material accuracy, graphic placement, and overall quality; identify and report defects, inconsistencies, or quality concerns to management.
Prepare, organize, move, and stage materials and products to support efficient production flow and maintain clean, organized work areas.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following company procedures, State and Federal safety standards, and equipment guidelines.
Perform other duties, as assigned.
