About The Position
Quality Counts is seeking a motivated and responsible temporary employee for a two-month data collection project in Waukegan, IL. This role involves walking through local neighborhoods and using an iPhone with DeepWalk's scanning software to collect sidewalk data for ADA compliance. The collected data will be used to improve and modernize local sidewalk accessibility. This is a great opportunity to earn extra money this Summer.
Requirements
- No experience needed.
- Can commit to the two-month project duration (Mid-May through Mid-July).
- Can easily navigate an iPhone and quickly learn/operate the scanning software.
- Will follow all project instructions and deadlines.
- Loves to walk and thrives in an outdoor environment.
- Self-motivated and can work independently.
- Problem solver.
Responsibilities
- Walk through local neighborhoods gathering data using an iPhone.
- Operate DeepWalk's scanning software to inspect sidewalk systems for ADA compliance using iPhone LiDAR systems.
- Make local community impact by collecting data that will be used to improve and modernize local sidewalk accessibility.
