About The Position

United Health Services (UHS) is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) for our Walk-In Clinic – Vestal and Endicott, NY sites. This is a full-time position working seven (7) twelve (12) hour shifts per pay period (every two weeks). The position will work every other weekend. The primary department is the UHS Walk-In Vestal. The role involves leading by example and driving clinical outcomes in the walk-in clinic setting, creating an environment where walk-in care is considered a strength of UHS, and providing direct patient care.

Requirements

• A licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) able to practice in the State of New York and eligible for membership on the UHS Medical Staff.
• Experience in full spectrum medicine for all ages required (including Peds).
• Comfortable with minor procedures (sutures, splints, etc).

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in Walk In Clinic or Urgent Care setting preferred.
• Experience in Family medicine, walk in care, urgent care, or emergency medicine welcomed.
