About The Position

The Briarwood Community is hiring Waitstaff to join our Dining Services Team. This part-time role (16–20 hours/week, $15.50/hour) is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong hospitality, customer service, and communication skills who is looking to grow in dining services and senior living hospitality. Typical schedule is Monday–Saturday 3:30–7:30 pm and Sunday 10:00 am–2:00 pm, with some flexibility based on community needs. As Waitstaff, you play a key role in delivering a warm, welcoming dining experience that supports resident satisfaction and community well-being.

Requirements

Strong customer service and communication skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to interact professionally with residents, guests, and team members.

Nice To Haves

Experience with POS systems or hospitality tools is a plus.
Previous waitstaff, dining services, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide courteous, professional table service to residents and guests.
Set up dining areas, including linens, place settings, and beverage stations.
Deliver meals promptly and accurately while ensuring dietary preferences are followed.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of dining rooms and service areas.
Collaborate with the Dining Services team to ensure a positive and welcoming dining experience.
