About The Position
At Glen at Hiland Meadows, part of the St. Peter’s Health Partners family, we believe that every dining experience should be meaningful, enjoyable, and rooted in quality. Our independent senior living community is committed to using fresh ingredients and offering residents elegant meal choices in a welcoming, restaurant-style setting. We are seeking compassionate and professional Wait Staff to join our dining team and help us deliver exceptional service to our residents each day.
Requirements
- Previous wait staff or customer service experience preferred (especially in hospitality or healthcare settings)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A passion for serving older adults and enhancing their dining experience
- Dependability, professionalism, and a team-focused mindset
- Ability to read and write at a 6th grade level
- Flexibility to work some evenings, weekends, and holidays
Responsibilities
- Provide friendly, timely, and professional table service to residents during mealtimes
- Communicate daily specials and menu offerings clearly and enthusiastically
- Ensure that tables are clean, properly set, and residents feel valued and attended to
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure meals are served correctly and promptly
- Maintain a warm and respectful environment in the dining room
- Maintains high standards for personal appearance and hygiene
- Follows all food service department policies and safety rules
