About The Position

The Waitstaff/Bartender role is pivotal in delivering an exceptional dining and beverage experience to guests by providing attentive, friendly, and efficient service. This position requires managing both front-of-house responsibilities, including taking orders, serving food and drinks, and ensuring customer satisfaction, as well as bartending duties such as preparing and serving a variety of beverages. The successful candidate will create a welcoming atmosphere, handle transactions accurately, and maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area. They will also collaborate closely with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth operations and timely service. Ultimately, this role contributes significantly to the establishment’s reputation and customer loyalty by consistently exceeding guest expectations.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of mixology and cocktail preparation.
  • Customer service training or hospitality education.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and seat guests promptly and courteously, providing menus and answering questions about food and beverage options.
  • Take accurate food and drink orders and relay them efficiently to kitchen and bar staff.
  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction and respond promptly to any requests or concerns to ensure a positive dining experience.
  • Handle cash and electronic payments accurately, balancing registers and maintaining transaction records.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining and bar areas, including setting and clearing tables.
  • Adhere to all health, safety, and alcohol service regulations and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with team members to manage busy periods and ensure smooth service flow.
