About The Position

This position involves taking food and beverage orders and efficiently delivering items to dining room guests. The role requires prompt and warm greeting of guests, efficient order taking, and professional delivery of food while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards. The Waiter/Waitress will demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients, advise guests on food and drink combinations, and accommodate reasonable requests. They will also communicate with back-of-the-house staff to ensure correct order delivery and special requests are met. The role demands exceptional communication skills, the ability to get along well with others, and flexibility and patience when interacting with guests and staff. Additionally, the position involves collecting tickets, following proper cash-handling procedures, promoting a clean and safe environment, and maintaining sensitivity and confidentiality regarding personal information. Promptly addressing complaints or issues and relaying relevant information to a supervisor is also a key responsibility. The Waiter/Waitress will ensure the dining room is properly set up and maintained, and will operate various equipment. Collaboration with staff from other departments for special events and functions is expected, along with performing other assigned duties.

Requirements
