Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and take food and beverage orders efficiently, following established steps of service.
Deliver food promptly and professionally, maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards.
Follow up with guests to assist with any additional needs or requests.
Demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients.
Advise guests on appropriate food and drink combinations and accommodate reasonable requests.
Communicate directly with back-of-the-house staff to ensure correct order delivery and accommodation of special requests.
Collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures.
Promote a clean, safe, and neat environment for guests.
Maintain sensitivity and confidentiality regarding personal or medical information.
Address complaints or issues promptly and relay relevant information to a supervisor.
Ensure the dining room is properly set up before and after service periods, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards.
Operate various equipment including fire extinguishers, telephones, iced tea/soda machines, soup wells, and coffee machines.
Work with staff from other departments during special events and functions.
Perform other duties as assigned.
