About The Position

Morrison Living is hiring immediately for full time and part time WAITER/WAITRESS positions at Mount Vernon Towers. This role involves taking food and beverage orders, delivering items to guests, and ensuring a positive dining experience. Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and take food and beverage orders efficiently.
• Deliver food promptly and professionally, adhering to safe food handling and sanitation standards.
• Follow up with guests to assist with any additional needs or requests.
• Demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients.
• Advise guests on food and drink combinations and accommodate reasonable requests and preferences.
• Demonstrate knowledge of specialized diets and allergens as needed.
• Communicate with back-of-the-house staff to ensure accurate order delivery and special request accommodation.
• Collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures.
• Promote a clean, safe, and neat environment for guests.
• Maintain sensitivity and confidentiality regarding personal or medical information.
• Address complaints or issues promptly and relay relevant information to a supervisor.
• Ensure the dining room is properly set up before and after service periods, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards.
• Operate various equipment including fire extinguishers, telephones, iced tea/soda machines, soup wells, and coffee machines.
• Collaborate with staff from other departments for special events and functions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
