About the Role: As a Server, you will play a crucial role in delivering an exceptional dining experience to our guests by providing attentive, friendly, and efficient service. Your primary objective is to ensure customer satisfaction by accurately taking orders, serving food and beverages, and addressing any guest needs or concerns promptly. You will collaborate closely with kitchen and bar staff to coordinate timely and accurate order delivery. Maintaining a clean and organized dining environment will also be part of your responsibilities to uphold our establishment's standards. Ultimately, your efforts will contribute to creating a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat visits and positive word-of-mouth recommendations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a customer service or food service role preferred but not required.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during shifts.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail.
Nice To Haves
- 1 year of experience working in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environment preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards preferred.
- Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems preferred
- Bilingual abilities enhance communication with a broader range of guests, improving overall service inclusivity and satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests in a courteous and professional manner.
- Present menus, explain daily specials, and answer questions regarding menu items and ingredients.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the point-of-sale system.
- Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring order accuracy and presentation standards.
- Check in with guests during their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any additional requests.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth and timely service.
- Handle guest payments and provide accurate change or process electronic transactions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
