Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and take food and beverage orders efficiently, following established steps of service.
Deliver food promptly and professionally, maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards.
Follow up with guests to assist with any additional needs or requests.
Demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients, advising guests and accommodating reasonable requests.
Communicate directly with back-of-the-house staff to ensure correct order delivery and accommodation of special requests.
Exhibit exceptional communication skills and ability to get along well with others, remaining flexible and patient.
Collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures.
Promote a clean, safe, and neat environment for guests.
Maintain a high level of sensitivity and confidentiality regarding personal or medical information.
Address complaints or issues promptly and relay relevant information to a supervisor.
Ensure the dining room is properly set up and clean, meeting established sanitation standards.
Operate various equipment, including fire extinguishers, telephones, iced tea/soda machines, soup wells, and coffee machines.
Work with staff of other departments during special events and functions.
Perform other duties as assigned.
