About The Position

The Terraces of Boise in Boise, ID, a HumanGood community nationally rated as 2025-2026 Best Senior Living community for Assisted Living, Independent Living and Memory Care by U.S News & World Report, is looking for talented Wait Staff to join our team! Our wait staff team members perform all duties associated with setting up and working on a trayline, serving food to residents, washing dishes and/or pots and pans, bussing dishes, prepping food, such as salads, desserts, garnishes and/or maintaining cleanliness of food and dining room areas.

Requirements

• Prior customer service experience
• Prior food service, fast food or restaurant experience
• Availability that might include weekends, & holidays

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience working with seniors
• Food Handler’s or ServSafe certification

Responsibilities

• Perform all duties associated with setting up and working on a trayline
• Serve food to residents
• Wash dishes and/or pots and pans
• Bus dishes
• Prep food, such as salads, desserts, garnishes
• Maintain cleanliness of food and dining room areas
• Greet residents and guests promptly as they arrive
• Inform guests of daily specials, make recommendations
• Complete bussing, runner, meal plater, utility and catering duties as needed or assigned
• Refill beverages throughout the meal service
• Keep alert to resident requests and special needs; assist residents with plates or trays
