About The Position

The Wage Agency Instructor, under direction, assists in training various specialty skilled and/or semi-skilled courses within the Infrastructure Training & Safety Institute (ITSI) Leadership program. Utilizes knowledge of adult learning theories and learning styles to help maximize learner success and ensure overall effectiveness of the course instruction. Performs online and/or classroom instruction, field-based skills training, and/or may provide technical assistance in a specialty area. Uses a variety of media to present course material. May assist in creating new and/or updating curriculum content, when necessary, to meet learner needs. Works with the Leadership team and ITSI customers to deliver training in and assist in development of TEEX Leadership courses.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Four years of experience in a key leadership role, including applicable experience instructing leadership training.
• One year of adult education and/or training experience.
• Must have a valid motor vehicle operator’s license or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment.

Nice To Haves

• Will consider a Bachelor’s Degree in applicable field from an accredited college or university with no prior experience in a key leadership role, including applicable experience instructing leadership training. Must have year of adult education and/or training experience.
• An Associate’s Degree with two years of experience in a key leadership role, including applicable experience instructing leadership training. Must have year of adult education and/or training experience.

Responsibilities
