About The Position

The Wafer Test Engineer is part of Cisco’s Supply Chain Product Operations Test Development team, supporting optical transceiver products. The role works with design, product engineering, quality, applications, manufacturing, and other cross-functional teams to develop, validate, characterize, and optimize production testing of silicon wafers from new product introduction (NPI) through the product lifecycle. The engineer helps ensure product quality, performance, and manufacturability by leading test development and validation, influencing design-for-test decisions, and improving test coverage. The role includes analyzing test data, establishing product limits, supporting offshore production, and contributing to product performance, yield, cost, failure analysis, and continuous improvement. The position is based in Cisco’s Holmdel, New Jersey office.
