About The Position

Parsons is hiring mid- and senior-level Vulnerability Researchers / Penetration Testers to support upcoming mission-critical cybersecurity work. The role is part of the local Analytics & Engineering team and involves hands-on penetration testing, complex technical problem-solving, and high-quality analysis in support of customer missions. The team emphasizes collaboration, knowledge sharing, technical excellence, and continued professional growth, with opportunities to participate in technical talks, training, social events, and hands-on innovation activities at the Cybersecurity Center of Excellence Lab in Columbia, Maryland. This position is part of Parsons’ Federal Solutions team, which supports U.S. government customers and missions in areas including defense, security, and intelligence. An active Top Secret/SCI clearance is required.

Requirements

Mid-level: Bachelor's degree and 5–9 years of experience.
Senior-level: Bachelor's degree and 10 or more years of experience.
Current and active TS/SCI security clearance.
Experience with penetration testing, red teaming, or offensive cyber operations.
Willingness to learn, grow, and contribute in a collaborative technical environment.
IAT II certification.

Nice To Haves

At least one intermediate- or advanced-level industry certification relevant to penetration testing, such as OSCP, CEH, PenTest+, or GPEN.

Responsibilities

Plan and execute vulnerability campaigns, rapid-response campaigns, red team engagements, and DAST scans.
Maintain the VDP Assessment Playbook and research emerging exploits and tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs).
Collaborate with analysts and subject matter experts to solve complex technical problems.
Continuously improve technical skills and adapt to new tools, technologies, and cyber threats.
Contribute to a team culture centered on learning, knowledge sharing, and technical excellence.
