About The Position

The VTM Teller plays a critical role in delivering exceptional customer service through video teller machines, bridging the gap between traditional in-branch banking and digital convenience. This position is responsible for assisting customers with their banking transactions remotely, ensuring accuracy, security, and a positive customer experience. The VTM Teller will handle a variety of financial transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments while adhering to all regulatory and compliance standards. By effectively communicating and resolving customer inquiries, the VTM Teller helps maintain customer satisfaction and loyalty. This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a virtual environment to support the bank’s operational goals.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a customer service or teller role within a financial institution.
  • Possess the ability to interface and maintain effective interpersonal relationships with employees and customers that is necessary to project a positive and professional image.
  • Strong computer literacy and comfort with video communication technology.
  • Ability to pass background checks and comply with banking security standards.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s degree or higher in finance, business, or related field.
  • Experience working with video teller machines or remote banking technology.
  • Bilingual skills to assist a diverse customer base.
  • Proven ability to handle high-volume transactions with accuracy and professionalism.

Responsibilities

  • Operate video teller machines to assist customers with their banking transactions in real-time.
  • Verify customer identification and ensure compliance with banking regulations and security protocols.
  • Process deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, and other financial transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Provide clear and courteous communication to resolve customer questions and concerns promptly.
  • Maintain detailed records of transactions and report any suspicious activity according to bank policies.
  • Collaborate with branch staff and management to ensure seamless customer service and operational efficiency.
  • Stay updated on bank products, services, and policies to provide accurate information to customers.
